Copyright & IP Policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Monecuer creates software, designs, media, documentation, brands and other original work. This page explains our general approach to ownership and permissions. Specific project agreements and third-party licences may override these general statements for particular material.

1. Monecuer-created material

Original material created and owned by Monecuer may include source code, product interfaces, website content, documentation, graphics, logos, photography, video and other creative assets. Copyright and other rights arise and are enforced according to applicable law.

2. Client projects

Ownership and licensing for commissioned work are determined by the applicable quotation, statement of work or contract. Monecuer does not publish a blanket rule that every paid project automatically transfers all intellectual property. Pre-existing tools, reusable components and third-party material may remain separately owned or licensed.

3. Brands and trademarks

Monecuer, Spectre and other brand names, logos and visual identifiers may be protected by copyright, passing-off, trademark or other applicable rights. Unless a specific mark is expressly described as registered, this website does not claim that it is currently a registered trademark.

4. Third-party material

Monecuer projects may include open-source software, stock assets, fonts, APIs, libraries or other third-party material. Those materials remain subject to the rights and licences of their respective owners. Their inclusion does not transfer ownership to Monecuer or a client beyond the applicable licence.

5. Permissions

Do not reproduce, sell, redistribute or commercially use proprietary Monecuer material beyond the rights granted to you. Short quotations, commentary, reporting and other uses may be permitted by applicable law. If you need broader permission, contact us first.

6. Infringement reports

If you believe material on a Monecuer-controlled service infringes your rights, send the relevant URL, a description of the work, your contact information and enough evidence for us to assess the claim to business@monecuer.com. We may request additional information before taking action.

7. Portfolio use

Whether Monecuer can publicly display client work, names, logos or case studies depends on the project agreement, confidentiality obligations and required permissions. We do not assume unrestricted portfolio rights where an agreement says otherwise.
